As a therapist, I hope to emphasize and encourage a sense of freedom for my clients. The freedom to go slow, but also be challenged; the freedom to feel the uncomfortable and the comfortable; and the freedom to be as you are but to work toward a better version of yourself. My approach to therapy is relational in nature and focuses on how past or present relationships impact the contextual factors in your life or how the contextual factors in your life are impacting your relationships. I hope to collaboratively help clients foster new ways of relating to themselves and/or others, and to spark new beliefs that will encourage hope and growth. I graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University in May of 2019 with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy where I also received a certificate in Medical Family Therapy. My MedFT training allows me to help individuals and their families develop strategies to deal with disabilities or chronic illnesses. In addition, I have clinical experience working with people struggling through depression, anxiety, grief, sexual dysfunction, trauma, relational issues and chronic pain, with a special interest in infertility and reproductive trauma. I look forward to helping individuals (adults and children), couples and families work toward healing and transformation.
